If you’re wanting to calculate your potential winnings, stake, return or profit for a Super Yankee bet you’ve placed or are thinking of placing, then check out our Super Yankee bet calculator below.
Unlike the shamefully unimpressive naming of the Union Jack Bet, the Super Yankee bet does seem to garner its name from a slightly more mysterious or legendary tail. Many sources suggest, that the Super Yankere is named as such because an american gambler in the past won a huge amount of money from a small stake while using this type of bet in the UK. The problem that i have with this story, is that for the gambler to use this bet, it must have already existed, so what was it called before Super Yankee. Also, any story that begins with ‘an american gambler, possibly a soldier’, is mighty ambiguous, likely to be a fisherman’s tale, but it’s all we have so go with it.
The Super Yankee Bet is particularly popular when betting on the horses, where there are large selections to bet on, lots of races throughout the day and the possibility of placing each way bets to improve your ability to cover your bases.
In total, the Super Yankee is made up of 26 bets across 5 selections. These 26 bets consist of:
1 x 5 fold accumulator
5 x 4 fold accumulators
10 x Trebles
10 x Doubles
